Coco-Glucoside. Glucoside 818UP by Connect Chemicals acts as a non-ionic surfactant, co-surfactant and emulsifier. It is an ethoxylated alkyl polyglucoside (APG) free from preservative, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and sulfates. It combines the formulation ease of typical non-ionics with the foam characteristic of anionics, proving superior performance.
It can be cold processed and allows cost-effective formulations in rinse-off products. It is easy to thicken and offers mildness to the solution. Glucoside 818UP finds application in formulating shampoos, shower gels, intimate & facial cleansers, liquid soaps, fragrances, toiletries, makeup, skin-, hair-, sun and baby care products. It is suitable for the formulation of cosmetic products declared as “natural”. It has a shelf life of 12 months. It is Ecocert, COSMOS approved, NATRUE allowed and RSPO certified.
