Decyl Glucoside. Glucoside 650EC by Connect Chemicals is an ethoxylated, alkyl polyglucoside (APG)-based, non-ionic surfactants widely used as a primary or basic surfactant as well as a co-surfactant in the formulation of cosmetic products declared as natural”. It is sulfate-, PEG- & preservative-free emulsifier. It is easy to thicken, has a shorter carbon chain and therefore builds up foam quicker than other surfactants. It provides superior performance by combining the formulation ease of typical non-ionics with the foam characteristic of anionics. It can be cold processed and will allow mild but cost-effective formulations in rinse-off products.
It provides effective cleaning and quick foam build up, even at low percentage. Recommended for formulating toiletries, skin-, hair and baby care products. It is completely biodegradable and produced from renewable resources. It is Ecocert, COSMOS approved, NATRUE allowed and RSPO certified. Glucoside 650EC has a shelf life of 12 months.
