Disodium salt of caryloyl glutamate. It is an anionic surfactant is produced from vegetable raw materials which increases the microbiological stability of formulations. It is a preservative-free product particularly indicated for formulations of antidandruff products hence it acts as a very favourable MIC on the bacteria responsible of dandruff and skin disease (pytyrosporum ovale, staphylococcus epidermis, staphylococcus aureus and propionibacterium acnes).

It is compatible with anionic, amphoteric and non-ionic surfactants. Used in shampoos, shower gels, liquid soap, intimate hygiene products, rinse-off products, deodorant, o/w and w/o emulsions such as creams, milks, lotions and leave-on products.
