It exhibits a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity against gram-positive & gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and molds at low dosage level. It inhibits the growth of populations by acting on the cell membranes and the cytoplasm. It is easy to handle and stable over a wide pH range in comparison to other acids. Recommended for organic products, makeup, toiletries, skin-, hair-, sun-, oral and baby care products. Ethyl Lauroyl Arginate HCl is ideal for formulation of natural deodorants without the use of antiperspirants. It was generally recognized as Safe(GRAS) by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is NATRUE allowed and can be used in ECOCERT/COSMOS formulations. It has a shelf life of 18 months.
