Glyceryl Oleate. Capmul® GMO-50 by Abitec Corporation is an emollient, surfactant, emulsifier and refatting agent. It can also act as an opacifier and bulking agent. Offers anti-microbial properties. It is obtained by esterification of glycerol of food-grade oleic acid of vegetable origin, or by partial glycerolysis of vegetable oil that consists mainly of triglycerides of oleic acid. Capmul® GMO-50 is used in lotions, creams and cosmetic products.
