Lauroyl/Myristoyl Methyl Glucamide. GlucoTain® Flex by Clariant is a mild, non-ionic surfactant with superior thickening properties of an amphoteric surfactant. It is a GMO-, EO- and PEG-free, sugar-based product offering sensory benefits. It leaves a smooth, nourished after feel and provides excellent color protection with its medium creamy foam. It provides shine and easier combing and shows a distinct conditioning effect.
It supports the development of sulfate-free, CAPB-free and betaine-free formulations for a wide range of applications. It contains 0.3% dehydroacetic acid and 0.3% sodium benzoate as preservatives. It is a readily biodegradable product with a high content of non-tropical biomass, and a good ecotax profile. In shampoos, it reduces combing force in wet and dry state. It is suitable for fine, damaged and colored hair. GlucoTain® Flex is applicable in showers & baths, liquid hand soaps, facial cleansers, shaving soaps and syndets.
