Menthyl Nicotinate. NICOMENTHYL® 20 distributed by DKSH is a thermostable, preservative-free, multifunctional and sensorial active. It acts as a skin microcirculation enhancer, anti-pollutant, antioxidant, anti-aging- & detoxifying agent. It has self-emulsifying properties, which may result in the formation of stable micro-emulsions. It is optimized by all those carriers having a good lipophilicity and a high spreading value.
It protects the skin against harmful effects from external factors. NICOMENTHYL® 20 is used in anti-age, anti-free radicals & anti-pollutant, skin detox formulations and sun care products (pre, during and after-sun exposure). It is suitable for hair loss prevention- & cellulitis treatments, spa treatment- & intimate hygiene products, refreshing/reactivating products for feet & legs and lip plumping treatments. It is designed for deodorants/antiperspirants, pre- or after-shave products, massage body lotions, toothpastes, oral rinses, mouthwashes and non-irritant hand sanitizers. It has a shelf life of >36 months.
