PEG-35 soy glycerides. Is a low-melt solid, water soluble vegetable oil derivative obtained from refined soybean oil. It is nonionic and compatible with other ionic species in formulation.
Can be used in creams and lotions as an emulsifying agent with an HLB of 16-18 as well as in anionic systems as a low irritation secondary surfactant. Can be formulated into clear aqueous systems where it functions as an irritation reducing agent and a rheological control agent. Imparts lubricity and a pleasant after feel on skin. Also used in hair and skin care products.
