Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate. Hostapon® CT paste by Clariant is an effective, plant-based, EO-free mild surfactant and foam enhancer to enable the trend towards milder washes. It shows stability over a broad pH range, marvelous mildness, softness, good cleaning and degreasing properties.
It has excellent foaming even in presence of high oil concentration and hard water resistance. It offers characteristics such as high lathering power, foam boosting in creamy shampoo formulations, foam-stabilizing effect and preservative-free. Hostapon® CT paste is used in baby products, hair-care, liquid & cream shampoos, bubble baths, shower gels and facial cleansing creams.
