Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate (100%). Amisoft® HS-11P by Ajinomoto acts as an anionic surfactant, co-emulsifier and moisturizing agent. It is derived from L-glutamic acid, an amino acid and plant-derived fatty acids. It is a very mild, highly biodegradable, weakly acidic and hypoallergenic grade. It is a gentle cleanser for hair, without leaving a dry and coarse feel.
It is compatible with inorganic and organic electrolytes. Amisoft® HS-11P is suitable for emulsion including electrolytes such as sodium PCA and ascorbic acid derivatives. It can be used in oil-in-water emulsions, skin creams, skin lotions, hair creams, sun care creams and liquid foundations. It is recommended for hair and skin care applications. Cold process emulsions can be formulated with this emulsifying system. It is a COSMOS-certified natural ingredient.
