Sodium stearoyl lactylate. Capmul® S18L by Abitec Corporation acts as an emollient, emulsifier, secondary surfactant and bulking agent. It is produced through a condensation reaction of selected fatty acids and lactylates. It provides light silky-smooth and non-greasy feel on the skin. Capmul® S18L finds application in formulating lotions, creams and rinse-off products.
